For Spring/Summer 2010, Glavio Girolami and Prathan Poopat of Common Projects bring sneakers in a refreshing clash with summery elements with a pair of perforated low-top sneakers. The entire shoe is crafted from premium leather, but aside from the tongue, toe and heel tab, the rest of the sneakers are wrapped in a perforated white leather panel (with yellow peeking through from the tongue underneath). Championing ventilation both physically and visually, the cheerfully colored number doesn’t sport any other branding or embellishment and stay coolly non-chalant. Wear with shorts, to the beach or in the city, the new kicks are now available alongside other Common Project sneakers online at colette.
The ZigTech sole is far from subtle. Large waves of what looks to be injected foam are used for support. Similar to Nike Free, the design looks to be intended to increase flexibility and comfort for the wearer, as well as conserve energy while in motion. On this particular pair, red is used on both the sole and the liner. The entire upper is done in black, with bits of patent leather on the toe and heel. The large Vector logo along the side looks to be done with a shiny rubber.

Palladium is going high fashion this this year under the watchful eye of fashion designer Neil Barrett with a leather military boot for Fall/Winter 2010. The boot will be available in waxed leather, waxed and patent, and nabuk in three colorways: black, beige, and black and white.
Already available in parts of Asia and Australia, the French artist Fafi has once again worked her magic with some classic adidas Originals. The Spring/Summer women’s collection is spiced up with interpretations of some of Fafi’s original art.
The collection should hit the rest of the world in March.
Last time Dr. Marten and Stussy were together, the fling ended with the classy Tyler Boot. Now that the flame is burning again, we step things up a bit with The Hambleton. Packing a reinforced EVA wedge sole, The Hambleton come in either navy, ecru, or black. The uppers are all made of canvas and the silhouette looks to be inspired by tennis shoes.
Look for these to hit Stussy retail locations in March.
