Clemens en August by Liam Gillick Oxfords
Clemens en August and British artist Liam Gillick have collaborated to produce a seriously interesting oxford. At first glance they might appear to be a clean, highly polished, yet uninteresting black lace-up. However, take a better look at the toes and you’ll find a unique type of aeration going on. These classic dress shoes have a seriously modern kick to them, with a unique pattern of punched holes in the toe, making them a wonderful statement piece.

Nike Air Max 90 - White/White-Neutral Grey
The simple, white/white-neutral grey color scheme can simply coincide with any outfit you desire to wear. In addition to the simple colorway, this shoe uses a nice mixture of materials on the base as well. White and neutral grey suede make up the majority of the base; yet, a neutral grey colored premium leather strip appears just above the midsole and the collar is done up in white mesh. To finish it off, this sneaker owns a neutral grey visible Air sole unit, a black outsole and white laces.
Available now at Dunk.

Dr. Martens 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Collection
50 years ago, when people still wrote letters instead of emailed, bought records instead of downloaded, an unlikely matrimony happened between people from different lands. Dr. Klaus Maerten in Munich was an aspiring inventor with a garage full of failed and successful experiments, and amongst the knickknacks he had gathered through the years lies a very important one that would change his life and many others– shoe soles that felt like they were made from air. Moving on to England, the Griggs family resided in Northampton and had a glorious family tradition of making quality shoes. Through classified advertisement in a magazine, Dr. Maerten and the Griggs met, and very soon after, the first pair of Dr. Martens 1460 boot was born on April 1, 1960– and mind you, it was no April Fools’ joke.
When the Dr. Martens 1460 boot was first introduced, its comfortable soles and hard-wearing quality made it a hit among the good old blue collar workers who labor and sweat to feed their families. However, not long after, the boots were quickly picked up by rebels for its grass root, working class appeal. Even though these rebels were divided in their styles and cause– the punks, the ska, the mods, the goths, the psychobillies, the industrialists, the grunge…just to name a few– everyone with a statement to make and a cause to rebel and scream and shout were stomping the status quo to the ground.
J
ust yesterday, Dr. Martens kick-started its 50th Anniversary celebration on the dot of its 50th birthday. And aside from a mammoth collaborative music campaign rallying ten contemporary bands and ten film directors to celebrate the landmark birthday, the label is also launching a 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Collection of the 1460 boots and 1461 shoes.
The special 50th Anniversary Limited Collection sports the boots and shoes in Dr. Martens original colors– Cherry Red and Black. However, the birthday twist lies in the pebbled leather upper, which updates the classics in a gorgeous, textured look that is more matte than the original. Also, the boots and shoes feature gold heel loops and eyelets. The boots come in an extremely limited run of 1460 pairs for the 1460 and 1461 pairs of the 1461.
They are available now at select retailers such as Opening Ceremony, so celebrate the rebel you are and get a pair before they stomp their ways out!

adidas Originals “Hide and Seek” Stan Smith 80s TF

An interesting theme making its way into the adidas Originals 2010 spring/summer collection has been their “TF” line. The TF line is based around iconic classics which feature a transformable upper. The initial drop has seen highlights that include the Superstar and the Stan Smith 80s seen here.
In its original form, the Stan Smith features a high-top profile in which the upper can be un-zipped and removed to create a low-top version in a different color.
The Stan Smith 80s TF is available now at select retailers.

Converse Spring 2010 Jack Purcell

The Jack Purcell returns for Spring 2010 in some great color-ups. From vintage versions, quilted premium woven uppers to a new boat shoe silhouette, the all time classic still inspires and remains a favorite. The Jack Purcell Edward Boat is certainly the most surprising addition to the line-up and very welcome in its canvas options for the warmer days of the coming summer.

One of the greatest classic basketball shoe of all time !!!

At a first glance, this shoe may remind many of the Columbia Air Jordan 11s, yet, it contains unique elements of its own. For example, this sneaker’s heel panel in smothered in white pebbled leather which has never been spotted on this model.
Another one of its unique elements comes in the form of the carbon fiber support on the midsole. To finish it off, this sneaker owns an icy sole and metallic silver Jordan logos on the heel tab and the tongue.
