XLarege x X-girl x Converse Jack Purcell

White canvas covers the entire upper, while a white sole sits underneath. While that in itself would be pretty boring, blue and pink accents throughout help brighten things up. The left shoe uses pink laces to match its toe stripe, while the other muses blue in the same place. The insoles make use of the other shoe’s respective accent color.

Missoni X Converse Chuck Taylor

Missoni, a high-end fashion house based out of Varese, Italy, applied its trademark zigzag pattern on this canvas-textured Chuck Taylor. Supposedly, the colors and hues incorporated on this particular sneaker coincides with Missoni’s Fall/Winter 2010 Men’s collection.

Its complimentary features include a white, vulcanized sole, a white rubber toe cap, a red inner lining and an interesting tongue label that possesses Missoni and Converse branding.

Number (N)ine for Converse

Takahiro Miyashita’s Number (N)ine label took creative license with two different Converse models and came up with this collection, which is set to release on March 13th. Modifying both a One Star and Chuck Taylor All Star, Number (N)ine’s efforts resulted in some very unique creations.

The yellow shoe started life as a One Star ‘74 and has been dressed in yellow and sits on a white sole. The other shoe displays a light grey color and the same sole. Both use asymmetrical lacing systems, which Takahiro borrowed from the Converse Odessa trainer, which he admired as a child.

Kurt Cobain x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star – Spring 2010

There are two pairs of Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars in black/grey flannel, a look that transmutes recent fashion trends into the dominant pattern during the grunge era. Both say ‘punk rock means freedom’ on the lower side panels, a phrase that also appears on a simple black hightop pair of Chucks. There’s also one white lowtop pair, unique with its use of Kurt’s own drawings.

A must for any Nirvana fan, these are set to serve the servants soon; check your local Converse retailer.
