Ilse Jacobsen Rubber Boots

Ilse Jacobsen. The Danish brand was founded in 1993 when Jacobsen was looking for something that wasn’t made of “bad smelling rubber” and wanted to create a shoe that was comfortable and could endure outdoor activities. A line of rain wear quickly emerged that was based on simple Scandinavian design aesthetic mixed with international trends. Today, while Jacobsen’s line has branched out into everyday footwear, clothing and accessories, her rubber boots, particularly the lace-up style have become an iconic look in her country.

Ilse Jacobsen rubber boots are made of 100% natural rubber lined with a comfortable and cozy cotton fleece. A sturdy rubber sole and standout laces up the front give the boots the extra details that go beyond your average rain boot.

Shown here are the classic, knee-length lace-ups that run in a variety of colors, including black, white, a vintage brown, bright blue, red and army green. Other styles include a calf-length lace-up boot, and both knee and calf-length boots that do not have laces.

The knee-length boots retail for approximately $190 and the calf-length ones come in at around $160.
