Air Jordan 1 Retro 2K High

The Air Jordan 1 2K High combines the colors of four NBA Eastern Conference teams Michael Jordan repeatedly faced in his career. The shoe is patchwork of red, blue, dark blue, orange and green – nods to the Detroit Pistons, Cleveland Cavaliers, New York Knicks, and Boston Celtics. 


The Air Jordan 1 2K High is a limited release set to drop tomorrow, June 4th, exclusively at Nikestore.com and at Niketown retailers.

Air Jordan 2010 Playground Outdoor – White/Black-Varsity Red

The White/Black-Varsity Red shoe features a beefed up retooling of the standard Air Jordan 2010 for outdoor play, including midfoot cross straps, reinforced toe, and raised rubber wraps along the midsole. Tentatively set for a late summer release.

Air Jordan XI 25th Anniversary Retro Midnight Release @ Footaction on 34th in NYC

The AJ XI 25th Anniversary sports the classic white patent leather at the bottom of the upper and features a translucent outsole. From the laces to the tongue to the lining, the sneaker sports a very white contour. Silver appears on the Air Jordan tongue tag as well as the “23″ logo on the heel tab.

Air Jordan Retro VI (6) Lakers Samples

During the sampling up process though, Jordan Brand made a Lakers VI that did not feature the reflective paneling that will be on the final version which in effect, took the "showtime" out of the sneaker. Instead, the sample Lakers VI featured a full nubuck upper and the contrast stitching on was also a lot less subtle.

The final version can be seen [HERE] but for those who aren't a fan of the nubuck/reflective combo, you can take a look at what might have been.

Air Jordan XI (11) OG Dissected

The Air Jordan XI is undoubtedly one of the most popular Air Jordan sneakers of all time. When it was first introduced in 1995, consumers were left with their mouths wide open, oohs and aahs leaving their tongues. The Air Jordan XI has caused ridiculous hype and mayhem, as people lined up days before the release of the DMP Air Jordan XI and caused a wreck during Air Jordan XI Space Jam Release.

Take a look at this exhumed OG Air Jordan XI in the Black/Red colorway, taken apart layer by layer. Notice the “carbon footprint” on the bottom of the boot, the interesting codes embedded into the outsole, and the crumbling air-unit that’s been scooped out of the mid sole. While this autopsy is painful to watch, it sure is interesting to see an original pair go through this process.

Inside The Michael Jordan Building At Nike World Headquarters

Until a couple months ago, the Jordan Brand offices at Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, OR were actually not situated in The Michael Jordan Building on Nike Campus. Instead, the Jordan team has been working out of The Jerry Rice building for the past decade.

At the request of Michael Jordan this past year, MJ’s on-campus building was re-dedicated and the entire Jordan Brand staff finally moved into their namesake building. Continue reading to get an inside glimpse of The Michael Jordan Building at Nike.
