Nike Zoom Kobe V – Ink/Metallic Silver – Sample – “Eggplant”

Kobe Bryant’s fifth signature from Nike Basketball has offered some of the most satisfying colorways we’ve seen on the hardwood and here’s an upcoming release that’s sure to keep the trend afloat.  The Nike Zoom Kobe V (5) pictured above comes to us in a new shade of indigo called ‘Ink’, but it wouldn’t be shocking if sneakerheads looked at these and thought ‘Eggplant!’  Irrespective of the particular shade of purple, these joints offer just enough variation from the typical Varsity Purple that they offer a novelty while still staying close enough to the Lakers’ uniforms that it wouldn’t be shocking to see Kobe himself rocking these sometime early next season.

You can grab yours today, with a size 9 sample available in advance of the Holiday 2010 release, from cigar0330 on eBay.

Nike Zoom Kobe V Holiday Release 2010

Nike Zoom Kobe V Ink/Metallic Silver-Black

Nike Zoom Kobe V White/Black/Del Sol- Metallic Silver

Nike Zoom Kobe V Wolf Grey/Black-Daring Red

One of the three upcoming Nike Zoom Kobe Vs features sort of a reverse colorway to the aforementioned Nike Zoom Kobe V “Del Sol”. Instead of possessing a predominately black-colored base, this sneaker owns a mainly white colored base with multiple Del Sol accents specifically on the heel, half of the sole and the shoelaces.

The other two colorways feature a wolf grey/black-daring red color scheme and an ink/metallic silver-black color way.

Nike Zoom Kobe VI (6) Samples | New Pics

New pics of sample Nike Zoom Kobe VI's have hit the Net. From the looks of the kix in these pics, the sneaker in these pics is still not in it's final retail phase and is clearly being worked on and perfected.

The Nike Zoom Kobe VI WILL be a lowtop and will follow the blueprint laid out by the ZKIV and ZKV with new upgrades of course.

Nike Zoom Kobe V Del Sol

Black Flywire and reptilian print combine on the upper, making for one of the more simple Kobe Vs we’ve seen to date. Del Sol is used for the branding on the tongue and Swoosh and also the outsole heel.

The speckled white and black laces are matched with the cookies and cream midsole. This color-up is a follow-up to the one found on the Zoom Kobe IV that used the same name.

Stateside fans will have to bide their time for now, but European ‘heads can grab theirs now at SneakersNStuff.

Nike Zoom Kobe MS Del Sol

The Nike Zoom Kobe M.S. is obviously a modified variation of the ever-so-popular Nike Zoom Kobe V. It is somewhat of an outdoor alternate sneaker to the Nike Zoom Kobe V much like the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier series is to James’s actual signature line.

The Nike Zoom Kobe M.S. is much more durable than the Kobe V in that it doesn’t use flywire or Lunarfoam technology; instead, it opts for different parts of leather which aids to better ankle support. The sole incorporates the XDR (Extra Durable Rubber) which provides traction along with the carbon fiber spring plate.

This Nike Zoom Kobe M.S. “Del Sol” is an Asia exclusive like all of the XDR sneakers and is available now at Kix-Files.
