Alden + Context Roy Boot
This plain toe 6 inch boot is cut from Chromexcel leather processed in Chicago by the Horween Leather Company established in 1905. Chromexcel is the original pull-up leather; using time honored techniques and formulas that were developed nearly 100 years ago.
Chromexcel is characterized by a rich pull-up (momentary separation of oils and color lightening) in full aniline, hand rubbed finishes. The Alden Shoe Company, based in Middleborough, Massachusetts, has been the leading manufacturer in classic gentleman’s boots and shoes since 1884.
